PFC 2008
The Partnership for Change (PFC) - Climate Change conference
was addressed by distinguished and leading international
experts, speakers and panellists who demonstrated the
challenges facing humanity on an international, regional and
local level, and provided essential advice on tackling
climate change and planning for an uncertain future.
Up to three hundred delegates attended the conference with
representatives from individual citizens, politicians,
public representatives, business executives, engineering,
science, planning, environmentalists, landscape architects,
farmer community, public health officials, educationalists,
NGO’s and voluntary organisations across Ireland.
PFC organised sponsorship for students from both secondary
schools and Universities across Ireland to attend. Proceeds
from the conference are to be donated to assist
humanitarian, medical and environmental organisations
working to help people in developing countries who live in
absolute poverty and at immediate risk from climate chaos.
